The color scheme of this Blog are the same (ok, very close) as the color scheme used in my master bedroom. The ceiling (the fifth wall) is a light blue, the quilt is brown, the area rug is green and the drapery uses all these colors together. Is it a fluke that this blog scheme appealed to me? Probably not. As I consistently tell my clients, color choice is a very personal, physiological based decision set. It is almost as if we are ‘hard wired’ when it comes to color choices for our walls or our clothing. It defines our comfort zone. That said, I will always encourage a client to reach outside their color comfort zone . Very often the results are a pleasant surprise.
Like an outfit without jewelery, a room is not complete without the ‘finishing touches’ artwork, accessories, lighting, window treatments
Meeting a client today who found my business via Interior Design Tool. Will be choosing paint colors for her entire home.
